Coaching Approach
Sally has a pragmatic, adaptive style of coaching which is perhaps not for the faint hearted. It is born from the depth of experience and learning through her own life journey and this is applied uniquely and flexibly to match an individuals needs and requirements. She believes that feedback is a 'Gift' you can choose to unwrap or not.
As an Individual Sally is straightforward (a spade is really a spade) and she operates on the basis of openness, honesty and trust. This she believes means that whilst she is supportive, she can be direct and challenging in her approach.
Types of Coaching
Sally, believes and the Association of Coaching recognises that coaching can be divided into three broad spectrums;
Executive, Life and Speciality Coaching
Executive Coaching
-
Coaching for Excellence
This is aimed at individuals who are already high performers. Coaching these people is all about making what is good even better -
Performance Recovery Coaching
This is designed to bring an individual up to an expected level - for example after a promotion or to bring someone back up to an expected performance level when performance has declined for what ever reason -
Leadership Development Coaching
This is aimed at either leaders or future leaders of organisations and will focus on an individuals abilities and skills to manage and lead people either directly or indirectly -
Team Coaching
This type of coaching involves working with groups rather than on an individual basis - for example working with a team, department or board in order to build better team relationships and dynamics, increase performance, or improve communications
Life Coaching
This can and does involve career development, however it will deal with any aspect of life, such as inherent self limiting beliefs, parenting, forming relationships, improving an individuals life in general
Speciality Coaching
This type of coaching is very targeted to a specific area of an individuals well being - for example stress management, confidence, redeployment or as part of a specific company programme - for example out placement or job search.
Sally works in all three fields, albeit most of her activity in recent years has been in Executive and Speciality coaching as well as selected HR Consultancy
